EGR valve
My '95 F-150 is getting lower gas mileage and runner hotter than it used to.
I pulled the codes with the flashing check engine light. Nothing in the KOEO, but the continuos memory had some sort of code ending in 33? I had a hard time counting it right.
I pulled the EGR valve off an it looks like it would operate correctly. I put a vacuum gage on it, and it never gets any vacuum, with the engine cold or warm. I plugged my voltmeter into the solenoid that controls the vacuum and never saw any voltage to the solenoid.
When should the EGR/solenoid be turning on? What is the solenoid connected to?
