Rearview Mirror removal help
Can anyone tell me how to get this mirror off it's mount on the glass. Besides just pulling it or using a hammer... lol? I see there is a little square cut out at the bottom but havent had any luck removing it yet.

Ford manual says :
disconnect wiring if electronic
grasp inside mirror
insert a small single blade screwdrier into slot (rrom bottom driver side}
pull screwdriver rearward until mirror snaps off of inside rearview mirror bracket
i will add, be very careful and do not force it

I use a ballpeen hamer to tape up on the bottom of the bracket. slide the hammer along the glass so you hit the mirror brack only and not the glass! remember you are dealing with glass and does break. You could also insert screwdriver into whole and use hammer too.
