Awd & 4wd Doesn't Work

I Tried To Put My 99 Eb Expo In 4h And Nothing Works, Even If I Put It In 4L, I Checked The #104 Fuse Under The Hood And It Is Fine, I Am Not Too Sure What Else To Look For With This Problem, Did Ayone Have This Problem And Know What It Might Be.. Thanks

how do you know that it is not in 4 wheel? You don't hear a clunk, does the 4X4 light come on in the dash?

First off, disconnect your battery for 30 minutes. This resets the computer and all electrical components. Reconnect and check to see if your transfer case will engage.

If that doesn't work, then your transfer case shift motor is probably faulty and you need purchase a rebuilt one. You can find one at www.rockauto.com for around $50 (after core return).

If that still doesn't work, then you could have a bad 4WD selector switch.

Since you checked your fuses, these are most likely your fixes.

I Noticed That If The Switch Is In Awd And The Rear Wheels Go To Spin Then The Front Wheels Do Grip If The Transfercase Motor Is Bad Would This Still Happen

You never hear the transfer case "clunk" when you put it into AWD so that really isn't a good measure. If you allow the computer and electrical system to reset by disconnecting the battery, that should tell you if the motor might be bad. The best way is to actually pull off the motor and see if it engages when moving the selector switch but that is a pain.
