Superchips programer gave me 5 numbers
p0603
p0478
p0470
p1211
p0782
I think that I may have to call the dealership or a local mech. shop to know what the codes mean, I cant believe that there was 5, unless I dont know how to check them on the superchips.
0603= internal ctrl mod KAM error (keep alive memory)
normal when a tuner is used
0478=exaust pres ctrl valve high input
they tell me normal when running chips tuners
0470=exaust back pres circuit error
not sure ..may be check if plugged in (location eleven o clock above waterpump)
1211=ICP not controllable-pres above/desired
normal with tuner or chip
0782=2-3 shift error
transmission trouble ... not sure what remedy is
I didnt clear any of the codes, because I didnt know if anyone would be able to tell me what they were, so I figured I would keep them intill some one posted back, I think that I am going to take it to a mech. shop that we do business with, and check the tranny one out just to see what it was for sure. Thanks for the info and I will let you know on what I find out on the tranny one. I know what happened and I have been making sure that I dont do it again.
I dont think it is, I have been driving it a lot and have had no problem with how it is shifting or driving. I just need to keep my foot off the pedal when getting on a wet road
ok 4X4, sorry about calling you on it. I think it was your second post as to the same information, so I thought you were trying to "drive the point home" so to speak. As I posted I was reminded of that scene in anchorman with the next line being "LOUD NOISES".
I'm Guessing That You Let It Shift While The Tires Were Spinning Or Something Like That. Since I Don't Have A Regular Mechanic Or One I Know For Sure I Can Trust.... I Would Just Reset My Codes And Keep Drivin.

Yeah, I caught the quote from Anchorman and laughed my butt off - good way to work it in!
The last code ( p0782 ) is a 2-3 shift malfunction code. There's your flashing OD light right there. Better have it looked at.
The other codes are related to exhaust pressure. If you have any goodies installed ( chip,tuner,air box, big head wastegate, etc. They will throw some codes. Not really anyhting to worry about. At least so I've been told ( NOT by the "stealership") but by my mechanic buddy. Here's a breakdown of your codes.
p0603.....Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
p0478....Exhaust Pressure Control Valve High
p0470....Exhaust Pressure Sensor Malfunction
p1211....Injector Control Pressure Sensor Above / Below Desired
I'm betting the tranny wouldn't shift or couldn't shift due to amount of torque beeing put through, or that when it did, it sensed some major slipping percentage and threw the code out. One thing for sure, if the specialist doesn't find any thing wrong with the tranny, I highly recommend looking into a shift kit from either Sonnax (50 bucks from Blackcloud diesel, a sponsor) or Transgo Shift kit. I have a sonnax from BlackCloud and am REALLY impressed by it, many others agree. A few have on from Transgo and from what I hear like it as well. Either way, it will definately help put more torque to the ground and lower the amount of slippage from the T/C.
