Hey all, I'm needing a memory freshening here. I believe I read here the the frame perches were the same for the FE series and the 300 inline 6. Surely someone here has swapped out a 6 banger for a 390 and can confirm or deny this........ I have a van with a dead 300 6 in it and I would like to put in something else. I don't think ford ever offered the FE in a van, but if a 460 fits in a van, the 390 should have lots of room. If the frame perches are the same (FE&I6) I am going to try and use pickup engine mounts and see if I can't get it to work. Ideas ? DF
DF the 66 pickup that I parted out with the I6 had the same perches, don't think the van is the same.
