I just recently had my ranger aligned and four new tires put on it. After I had it aligned the guy at the shop told me that the camber was still out by 1/3 of a degree on the left side. He said it would be another 80 bucks to get the parts and labor to pull the camber into spec. What i want to know is a 1/3 of a degree bad enough to worry about? I dont really want to spend the money if it is not that big of deal. I have noticed that it still does pull to the right a bit and i know my preasure set in all four.

Camber typically won't cause much of a pull, unless it's way out!
Specifications usually give a tolerance of .5 degrees on camber settings, so I doubt .33 will be much of a big deal, but the real question is HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE IS THERE LEFT TO RIGHT?
As long as left and right camber is roughly the same, no pull will be present. By being "out" by 1/3 degree, do they mean one is 1/3 degree off from the other, or it is out of spec by 1/3?
Do you have a printout of the alignment measurements? You've got me curious.
Example: Lets say spec. is +.5 (Give or take .5 - meaning 0.0 to 1.0 is O.K.) Left and Right
Right Camber is +.5, right on the money
Is Left +.2? (1/3 degree different from Right)
or is Left -.3 (1/3 degree out of allowable specifications)
Sorry, no printout. It was nothing official, just a buddy of mine that owns a lube shop did it for me. I know that the right side is with in tolerance. I believe the left is 1/3 past tolerance. Im not sure weather it is positive or negative, whichever one would cause wear on the outside edge.
