17 inch wheels

I have a 1999 F350 and my son in law has a 2005 F250. Mine has 16" wheels and his has 17" wheels. Will my 16's work on his 2005? I already know that the early eight bolt is different than mine.

no, the 16s won't clear the 05 calipers. 17 inch min

I have a '03 F250 with 16" wheels, can I put 17" wheels off a '05 F250? If so is the backspacing different?
