i have a 2001 eb expedition and i have seen a few that have split captains chairs in the second row...this looks cool was wondering if that is a factory only thing or can you just buy the two seats say from a junk yard and bolt them in or is their special tracks??/.. any help at all would be appreciated??.. anyone done this??
My brother has the same truck as I do and he has the 2 seperate rear seats. It looks like you would only need to remove the 60 part of the rear seat and replace it.
I've been considering the same thing in mine, but actually the bench is working just fine.
A long time ago, found a thread on doing this in this forum, search for it. In the thread, it talks about adding the welded in nuts for the seats, etc. Does not sound like a bolt in - Which surprised me, as I figured like you that Ford would make one floor panel for all Expy's. Have not researched it further...
