Boy i don't know. I have an '04 3.73 CC SB 4wd and the worst I get around town is in the mid 15's (15.45), and I've gooten as high as 23.65mpg towing my trailer (@5000K lbs) and that wasn't on flat ground either! I recently got just shy of 18 mpg going back and forth to the ranch hunting: which means a 150 mile round trip with up into the mountians and some of that is creeping around in 4wd. Every time I fill up I keep filling (slowly) until the overflow spills, thus I basically fill it the same each time.

I have tried Diesel Kleen (gray) in several tanks but it made no difference, plus my mechanic laughed when I asked him about using it every tank full; saying its not needed.

I have a light foot too, so I'm not getting into it a lot- don't know if that makes a difference- buut from what I've read on here it dosen't. i do have three other friends with 6.0L and they get about the same or a little less, but I do know they drive a lot more agressively than me.

I'd check what responses you get and my dealer told me after the reprogram to be sure to let him know if they was a drop or increase in milage- not sure what he would have done if there was- but he diffinatley made it clear to let him know.

I do have to say the milage has gotten slightly better, or rather more consistant over time/miles. (I have almost 8K on it now)

your not paying attention to the lie-o-meter are you for your milage
now if I could figure out how to keep it getting the same milage when I coast down a hill it would be great

Tell us your driving habits,EXACTLY how you drive, from warm up to leaving a stop light to how many miles in town and how many on the highway, to how many different members of your family drive the truck...don't leave out the terrain you drive in. i.e. hills flat that type of description.

There is more to MPG then just the truck
