interesting............sounds like its in the same category as the tornado air intake thingamcbob. PSD 60L, what exactly is this thing supposed to do? Change the fuel pressure? Honestly, if i can do this for 25 dollars in parts from the Shack and it will work with my predator (if i ever get it reinstalled) id give it a try, unless its all hocus pocus.

Just jacks up the ICP pressure by adding resistance to the sensor circuit-essentially tells the PCM there is less injection pressure than there really is.
While this actually does help fuel atomization, it also throws more fuel in at the same time. The "information" that is posted on that site is so falsified and played up its damn near funny, if it wasn't so blantant.
You can just stick a 10 cent resistor on the ICP sensor reference signal line for the exact same effect- if you really want to go all-out you can hook it to a switch to turn it on and off.
so im guessing it is sort of a poor mans fuel box from what i understand......the higher resisting resistor the more fuel per say? ahh forget about it, sounds like crap to me lol
Sorry vic, i know u dont like the predator......someday id like to buy a superchips just to see what i like most, but right now im being a tight *** with my wallet......looking for a house haha.
This thing reminds me of something my father once said "If it seems to good to be true, get the hell away from it"

I don't think Jim was laughing about the Predator....
I tell you what I did have a quiet giggle at thier website though...

NOTE: ADDING MORE POWER DOES NOT EQUAL ADDING MORE HEAT… MANUFACTURES CONTINUE TO RAISE THEIR HORSEPOWER RATINGS WITHOUT RAISING EGTS!
THE WORKHORSE IS THE ONLY PRODUCT ON THE MARKET THAT PRODUCES SUBSTANTIAL PERFORMANCE GAINS WITHOUT OVER-FUELING YOUR ENGINE.
So what exactly is a WORKHORSE Diesel Power Module you ask?… it is a high-tech micro-computer that simply plugs into your engine’s fuel pressure sensor and very precisely manages your engine’s fuel injection pressure.
The WORKHORSE is the by-product of 10+ years of research and development of “COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY” technology.
One of my favorites (who exactly is your blue-collar working-class diesel owner?)
The WORKHORSE is engineered specifically for the blue-collar working-class diesel owner
However… comparing the WORKHORSE to a CHIP is like comparing a Cadillac to a Yugo. Both are vehicles, and both will get you from Point A to Point B. But… as they say… you get what you pay for.
Now, if they would have said: "Blue-Collar Working Class Diesel Owner Redneck Good Ole Boy Contractor College Grad Partier Driver Cook Cleaner Bachelor Male" I may have bought it
The idea itself isn't as ridiculous, as the price.
Quadzilla and a couple other more reputable manufacturers use the same approach with their "economy" line stuff, but such are priced around 200-250 dollars and are at least somewhat more advanced than that....thing.... in the link. 700 dollars is almost like they are trying to pull a prank....
