I did an internet search on the topic for you and that seemed to be the common measurement but it could be a little more, if I wanted to give you a range then I would go as much as 4.
Factory wheel back spacing is given in what is called offset. Your wheels have 1/2" or 12 mm of positive offset. If you have 7" wide wheels, that means the center of wheel would be at 3.5" from each side and the wheel mounting surface would be another 1/2" towards the outside edge of the rim. All newer wheels have the offset value cast into the aluminum or stamped into the rear face of the wheel. On a 7" wheel the back spacing would measure 4". On a 6.5" wheel, the back spacing would 3.25+.5 or 3.75" and on a 6" wheel, the back spacing would be 3 + .5 or 3.5" That's why you might find a range of back spacing on factory wheels, but they are have the same offset of 1/2" towards the outside of the wheel. Hope this helps your original question of what the factory back spacing is.
Great thanks... that's what i was looking for, beccasue i'm puting these rims on my jeep, and my jeep has 5.25" backspacing... (but they're only 6" wide, so ur statement must not be true) anways, so they should stick out further on my jeep, that's what i was hoping for...
