This may be impractical to implement now and many may disagree, but it seem to me it would be easier to read new posts if they were reversed so the newest posts were at the top. This also would help where there are so many posts that everything is in collapsed format, because the newest 3 or 5 or so could be directly readable without having to click on the collapsed ones.
I visit a InfoPop board that way,but half of the members love it and the other half dislike it.I would imagine this will be left this way here.(just a guess)

Nothin' wrong with asking--I think the only "dumb" questions/suggestions are the ones that aren't asked, generally. However, speaking for myself, I kind of enjoy reading things in their historical order, descending the way they are, b/c then I can see what led up to the current buzz, if you know what I mean, in chronological order.
BigSix: Actually I hate the way Microsoft's email works backward (bottom-up) because it is hard to tell who said what, but on this site each post is nicely divided and would be easy to tell apart from the last. However, this is an issue not unlike (yeow! am I opening a can of worms on this one) the "which way should the toilet paper come off the roll--front or back" question. Can I assume that us Ford folks would pick the practical choice on that one?
Well, I'll jump in, metaphorically speaking. I like it off the front/top of the roll, personally, and I even read once that financially successfully over-achievers also like it that way. Of course, when I told my girlfriend this, to get her to quit putting in on backwards, she said "so what's YOUR excuse?," and of course, I had none. Yes, a real "can" of worms here, I'm afraid.
When I was engaged, my wife got mad at me for turning her mother's toilet paper around. She said not to ever do that again because it is her mother's house. I replied that it was helpful for me not to have to reach behind the roll. Anyway I laid down three rules for our house, one of which is the TP always comes off the front--that, she didn't mind.
