Oil Leak

I have a slow oil leak on my '99 4.6L F-150 Off-Road SuperCab (65K miles). It's leaking on the passenger side of the block, under the exhaust manifold, behind the starter, and running down to the bottom of the front of the transmission. I can't locate the leak from the top. Has anyone had similar trouble?

Do a search in here for head gasket leaks and you'll probably find more info than you want

You were right - I found out more than I wanted to know. That's what it looked like, but I was in denial. OK, how serious is this? Does the leak get worse over time, or does it just continue to be an annoyance? Does it ever progress into leaking water also, or leaking oil or water into a cylinder? Man, I had 265,000 miles on my 351W Ford before someone pulled out in front of me, so I don't have a very good impression of my weak as water, poor gas mileage 4.6L with only 65,000 miles on it. Bring back the pushrod V-8's. Thanks for your help.
