Front End Vibration
It feels like I'm getting a vibration on the front end of my 1993 F150.
What can be causing this?
The vibration ceases when I back off on the accelerator. I never had this problem until recently.
As a side note, I recently replaced a couple of bad upper and lower ball joints and was hoping this would solve the problem.
Any help is appreciated!

If it stops when you back off the gas, I would start looking at u-joints in the rear axle. I know you said it's from the front, but vibration can travel. If that's not it, then something is loose somewhere in the drivetrain. It could really be anything. Lift it up and start checking tie rod ends, etc.
Is your truck stock? 4x4? Miles?
When you changed the ball joints, did you change the bearings? Did you check the wear/tear on em when you had it apart? Did you make sure you put the right preload on the hub bearings (like 25lb-ft or something)? Are your wheels torqued down properly?
Do you feel the vibration more through the steering wheel? Or more through the whole truck?
Also check out the motor mounts and the rear tranny mount. Make sure they are in good shape.

Thanks for all the info!
The truck is stock: 1993 F150 XLT 4.9L 2WD
Just the ball joints were replaced. No other work was performed.
The vibration is felt mostly by the truck, but feels like it is on the front end. However, I will check everything that was mentioned in the posts starting with the easiest things...like the U-joints.
