Hi all,
I put a '76 302 from a Granada in my hot rod truck project, but didn't use the factory wiring harness. I hear that Ford put a resistor wire from the switch to the positive terminal on the coil. So the questions are: where can I get this resistor wire, and what is the resistance value?
Thanks for the help.
Bob
The value is 1.05 to 1.15 ohms. I have never checked the value, but I have used the big white chrysler resistors you can buy at the store. Just make sure you mount it out in the open where it won't catch anything on fire. They get a little warm.
