where do you check oil preassure on the block other than the oil sending fitting?, thanks, Bob

you don't like stated above. the sending unit needs to be unscrewed to cehck the pressure.

Either that or install a "T" and run both a mechanical gauge and the sender for either the elecronic gauge or idiot light.

yes that is doable. but on a fe it can be a very tight spot . it gets worse if you have the oil filter mount that points to the side and have power steering then it becomes a PITA.

With a horizontial filter I like to put a 90 degree elbow on, then an extension and put the "T" on out where it isn't so hard to install, at least you can see it. On the race car we ran a braided hose up to the inner fender and mounted everything there.
