I was looking at the starter solenoid of my 1990 V8 351 Lariat and I thought... corrosion!, I dislike corrosion... So by and by I took it off and cleaned it. I did not (like an idiot) label the wires where they should go. I put them all back on and all is well, except that now when I start the truck the battery light remains on and the battery does not charge.... ALSO, my air/heat blower does not work whereas it did before.... So if there is anyone who can help me with a picture of maybe their truck with its good hooked up switch I would appreciate it.
why not just hook it up opposite what you have now and see if it fixes itself. Remember all it is is a big switch in the 12v power cable between the battery and starter. polarity shouldn't be an issue (I'm sure someone'll disagree)

On mine, with the terminals facing you, there is one small red-blue wire with a boot that slips onto a small screw terminal on top. One large Negative (black) cable that goes to the large terminal on the left. The Positive (red) battery cable and everything else goes on the large terminal on the right.
