for what it's worth, performance companies(such as spperformancefords) sell external oil galley lines that externally move oil from the front to the rear mains where oil starvation issues occur in the 335 series blocks(351c, 351m, 400). May or may not reduce your oil temp, but would atleast improve your lubrication, thus resulting in better cooling of the moving parts. I haven't personaly added one to mine yet, so I can't say from personal experience. However, it is some info to share in a somewhat vague way of your cooling thread. Of course, nothing beats a good fan shroud.
