Here in Norfolk, Va regular gas is running for $1.32-$1.37 a gallon. Depends on where you go. Heating (Bottled gas) is a different story!! Last time i filled up it was $2.42 a gallon!!
About $1.50 per gallon of cheap unleaded here. Was planning to put a 390 and C6 in my 66, but decided my little good running 300 6 and the new C4 were just fine..! I remember the "gas shortage" days of the early 70's. What a mess! Conserve it if ya got it!
This week in Oshawa for 87 oct. it's 73.9/liter ($2.80CDN/USgal). Last week it was 69.9/liter ($2.65CDN/USgal). It runs me anywhere from $70-80 dollars to fill both tanks (ouch).
1992 F150 Supercab SB 4x4 302 AOD 3.55 31x10.5 All Terrain on Ford 15x8 Ralleys
When I went to Arizona to pick up the 65 Ford I just bought. I found out just how big the diffwerence is in other parts of the country.
For instance, in Houston Tx, for supreme I pay $1.59
Out in West Texas they pay that just for the Mid grade stuff!
I think supreme was going for $1.80 out there.
All total my trip out there cost me aruond $700 and most of that was gas!
Of course, that was in a full size Chevy van going up, and the same van, and a 65 F-100 with a 390 coming back.
I must say though, the best tank to go through that truck was 14 mpg, and the worst was 11 mpg. So it's not too bad on gas.
