bad injector
ok i think i have a bad injector the sound is a loud tick/off sound fuel knock its most noticed when cold and under light throttle i can punch it or really bog it down and it seems to go away anyways what do you think it is also i notice more smoke when accelerating i used to be able to get about a 1/3 to 1/2 throttle before i would see the smoke now its almost no throttle and it smokes not much but its there where it wasn't

Next time it's idling crck open that injection line 1/2 turn at the injector. If the noise quits and the engine runs the same/rough I would suspect the injector. Put the year of your truck and all other info in the signature edit of the Quick links up top.

ok well i cracked the injectors and they all made it run rough did it one by one and each time it did the same thing so its not the injector itself i did pull one a while back to look at it and put it back so i thought maybe it was a bad crush washer could it be that i have a leak or something on one or more other crush whashers since this fix seem to help but not elimnate the problem idk what it is im out of ideas so anything helps

yeah thats what ive been thinking it might be something w/ the valves what do u look for when u check and do u just need to pull the cover or the head also how is the best way to fix this where do i get parts and how much is this gonna be
