1977 F250 Tranformer Engine
hey fellas,
i am new to this board as well as my new ford pickup, and was wondering if anyone has any idea how to help me figure out what year the engine is thats in my truck. Its a 77 F250, that is supposed to have a 351 (according to vin#) but doesnt any longer. the air filter housing says its a 427 2v, but stamped in the block it says 460, so i am pretty sure its a 460, but how do i find out what year this bad boy is?? I was also wondering if anyone could tell me if the fuse labeled engine solenoid is for the ignition coil? cause it is constantly shorting out and kills my battery about every 3-5 days. any help would be greatly appreciated.
