60 armrest
Has anyone purchased the armrest from DC listed for 57 - 66 pickup? If so, is it durable enough for pulling the door shut and is it identical to 57 - 60 original?

I've yet to find a Repro Arm Rest that exactly matches the style that originally was offord for our Orphan Years Trucks.
The ones that I've found for sale, as such, are what came in the '61 & up trucks, same as the Window Crank, as they have the ***** that came out on the '61 & up trucks as well.

My Custom Cab 60 drivers side armrest has part number CODB 6424140 KZ stamped on it. The truck did not come equiped with passenger side armrest. I have had this truck since 1970 and am second owner. I looked at a couple of junked 65 trucks this week and the armrests are identical to my 60 but are mounted with the wide part of the armrest to the rear instead of the front (correct per part number). I pulled the passenger side rest off one of the 65 trucks and it had the same CODB 6424140 KZ stamped on it. These armrests appear to match the picture in the Carpenter catalog. Based on the part number, it looks like Ford changed the armrests in 1960 at some point. (Carpenter lists the part number as B9A-6424140.) Anyway, I got lucky and found a good used one I can dye black.
