abs grind....
I am having a problem,which I saw on here a couple of months ago,did a search and did not find it.....I have a 97 sport and as I apply brakes (moderately or harder..) the abs grinds and releases a little...someone said it was an 80.00 sensor replacement,but where are they,and are they ring sensors (I used to work for mopar and they were rings) or are they sticking in axle housing? How big of a pain are they to replace? Any help is greatly appreciated....This board has saved me big bucks since I got my sport and It also helped me with my f series as well....mike

Are you sure it's the brakes. When mine was grinding up front, it was the hub assembly. Pretty easy replacement but the hub assembly was prety expensive. I seem to remember soewher between $110.00 and $ 135.00. I replied to an earlier thread about this. I'll look to see if I can find it.

The one I was thinking of did not have much information but this one may be right in your wheel house. Problem sounds (no pun intended) very similar to yours and has a happy ending.

I was looking for! Thanks Texan..... I still hope that they are not too big of a pain to replace....it is that silly cold snowy time up north here and I have no garage....mike
