Explorer vibration
For a while there I was posting asking for help on a vibration issue. After two years using my explorer 96 with 75 k miles I found that all these misterious and different one from another vibrations were due to old tires. So I am in position to say that regardless on how good a tire may look or if it is adequately balanced or not these are woth nothing and will give nothing but troubles in the highway. Thanks . yes sir. Tires are one of the major rotating masses on a car and can easily cause a vibration issue. On the early explorers however, we have a host of other mechanical issues that cause vibrations - probably the posts you have found. Glad you have found a fix for yours!
