Which ones? Wally World sells many name brand tires, same tires you would get at any Goodyear of Firestone dealer. I have used Liberators before with no problems, matter of fact, I have a set of Liberators on their right now.
Do you need an all-terrain tire? Because, if you don't, take a look at the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. I have a set of 255/70R16 on my 2000 F-150. They are constanty on sale around my parts. They go for $75-100. Smooth, quite, great wet traction. I've got 15k on mine and so far so good. I've pulled a loaded dual axle trailer a couple of times from N Arkansas Central Kansas. I have a picture of them in my gallery, check em out.
I use the all terrain tires cause I like the way the look better than the regular road tires. I am pretty satisfied with them, no really annoying noise anyway, overall they ride pretty quiet for an all terrain tire. In my book, they are a great bargain.
I don't have them on my truck but the wife is using the Liberators on hers and seems to like them real well. Has gone through a winter and summer now and the wear is good and traction has not been a problem.
I personally have never tried them, but a friend of mine has them and has had no complaints, however I don't think he bought his at Wal-mart. I bought a set of Uniroyal Lareda Cross Country, not a very good tire, wimpy sidewalls. I will be sticking with my Pro Comp all-terrains. These tires are approved for severe weather use, if you do alot of snow driving.
Uniroyals are notorious for inner liner cracking, just never run them low and they are a decent tire, for the price, all comes down to you get what you pay for though!

Not true. I was a body shop parts manager, I tried ordering several tires from the Tirerack and local dealers only to get the response: "Oh, those are walmart/sams tires, we can't get those".
Sometimes the tire had a different name than a (for instance) Goodyear dealer could get, sometimes just a slight variation in the model number/designation.
