Air flow

Now that winter is here, I have noticed markedly less airflow from the floor vent on the drivers side than on the passengers side. It will cook the feet of the passenger, and barely flow enough air to keep the toes warm on the drivers side.

Any thoughts or suggestions, or is this normal for an expy 98 5.4 4x4 single front air no rear air?

I notice this also. The same thing happens in the summer with the AC, her toes are like icicles and I'm sweating.
