? On Changing the Right Side GP?

I just got the left side done and started looking at the right side. Looks like a lot more work or is it, I cant figure out if I will be able to take the vaule cover off with out removing the ac condenser motor (the thing connected to the belt), and the heater box? Some one that has did this before or knows please let me know before I start a too long project for tonight.

Thanks Derek

All I used was a 1/4 drive ratchet and a step so I could get right over where I was working, I'm no grease monkey but I got the right side done in a couple hours..there is just enough room behind the valve cover and a/c unit. A high quality ratchet that has smooth stops helps.

I have a 96 F350 and put the job off for a year thinking that it was going to be impossible to get the rear bolt out on the right side but when i got into it I found that it was easier than the left becouse I did not have to deal with the air intake and all the other stuff.

The way I pull my passenger side valve cover is with the use of a swivel socket, or swivel adapter with a socket attached and a 12" extension. It was fairly easy to get it done that way.

Ya these guys are right. It will wiggle out. I found a couple of bolts a bit tricky to get at. I got at them through the wheel well with a wrench. But if you have a swivel and a long 1/4 inch extention they say that will work to. Good luck!!
