What Does Your Scale Say

How many here pigged out on thanksgiving dinner?

A little food coma, hand on the remote, a quick cat nap, a little more food, asking who won the game.

So how was your feast, and what did you have?

I have one of the "digital-talking" scales. I got on this morning and it said, "WARNING! WARNING! Weighing two or more persons at the same time will damage scales and void your warranty!"

Time to go back on the diet....

We fried up 2 big turkeys, baked another big turkey and also baked a medium sized ham with enough fixings to feed a small nation. There were 14 of us and a lot of left overs for the coming days at work

Living in New England it is hard to get away from that old Thanksgiving traditions.

Roasted Turkey
Corn Bread Stuffing (my gal is a Texan)
Butternut Squash (home grown)
Turnip (home grown)
Creamed Onions (grandma is the only one who eats them)
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Deviled Eggs
Green Bean Casserole (we actually like it)
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Crumb Pie

Having adult onset diabetes, I have to count carbs. Well except for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

I can control my glucose level with diet and exerscise. Except for yesterday.

DAMN, CARBOHYDRATES TASTE GREAT.

My wife said she needed to go walk off dinner.
I told her to call me when she got to Brazil.
She hit me.

I'm surprise you're not in a coma; and I don't mean food coma either.

Didnt have much of a Thanksgiving dinner, just a little piece of turkey and pecan pie, than after work went to Miss. to pick up my wifes 15 year old sister to stay at our house to visit till Sunday. Stuffed my pie hole with all the leftovers from yesterday today though. To answer the question posed in the title of the thread, my scale says "FAT AZZ".

Christmas is much better, because you eat the same amounts of food, and get free stuff! Alls I did today was eat left overs, tons and tons of left overs. Good stuff.

Now that was funny. Mrs. Bear didn't think so, though.

I run between 160-165 no matter how much I chow down- and gawd did I ever yesterday.

I stay away from scales. We don't seem to agree, so I feel it's best we just go our seperate weighs...
