95 PS Alternator Problem
I have a 95 PS, I am getting a draw on my alternator and it will not charge the system. I have replaced the alternator twice under warranty, Put two new 875 cc Batteries in replaced the cables and I am still having the problem. I start the truck and the batt light comes on and stays on I look and the glow plugs seem to kick off but the volt meter stays way towards 8. The truck runs fine But I need to Put a charger on it to keep the batteries full.

sounds like your gloplugs are on all the time. I had a problem like that few years ago, i instaled a togle switch on the small line on the glo plug relay, and ran wire to dash, no more problem. If the waite to start light goes out, that does not mean the glp plugs are shut off. they usally shut off about 1 minute after the waite to start light goes out. sometimes they do not go out, hence dead batteries, and no charge, when your gp stop the volt meter should jump back to normal.
