level the 05 2wd edge?

level the 05 2wd edge?

I want to level my truck,but I do not want to mess with the torsion bars,what If I took the 2 inch steel wedge or block(whatever it is)out from the leaf springs?would that mess up anything like the driveshaft or anything?any advice would help out...

Look into the I believe it's 3 inch drop you get from flipping your rear suspension over. It's not too challenging, and there are several places on the web that offer kits for it.

I also believe I saw a Ranger leveling kit at Stylin Concepts maybe.

When ford lifts the rear of the edge they insert a 2 inch block and a add a leaf. I would remove the add a leaf and it will drop the back end about 2 inches. Look at the leafe spring on a 2wd xlt and compare it to your edge and you'll see what you need to remove. You truck will also ride better if you remove the add a leaf.

Will that level it though? I know my rear end rides higher. '94 XLT 4x2. I step in the back it drops way down though.

2 inches would be a little closer to level,I didn't even realize they had a add a leaf on there,just saw the 2 inch block under there.thanks for the advice..
