Fuel tank locking caps?
Hi folks,
Anyone have a recomendation for a good set of locking fuel tank caps for an '86 F-250? Seems like someone decided a couple of gallons of water in both tanks would be a fun trick. I'd like to get matching keys, if possible. Draining fuel tanks is not my idea of holiday fun...

They do make sets with matching keys and should be available at any decent auto parts store.
Unless you have reason to believe someone donated a couple gallons of water there's a good chance you got a bad batch of fuel at your last fill up.

Mark,i Have An 85 F250 And Put Locking Caps On Mine.i Got Them At Kraegen.any Parts Store Like That Should Have Them.here's The Part #rg-793ka Made By Fram.they Don't Twist In Like The Stock Ones.you Line Up The Tabs,them Push Until It Clicks.both Are Keyed Alike.hope This Helps.

caps and bad fuel...
Thanks for the advise on the caps, I wasn't sure I could get keyed alike at the local parts places...
As for getting a bad load of fuel, though of that, but I ran about 200 miles one tank, and when I switched to the other the problems started. Drained the water seperater, and swiched back to the other tank, got about a block and the light came on again, drained it, got another 1/2 mile, and it stopped all together. This was within 3 miles of the house that morning...
Called the commercial fueling station where I fuel, mostly big rigs and corporate guys, no complaints. They do a huge volume, so I really think someone's messing around. I park about 100 yds from the house this time of year because the garage is filled with all the crap I don't want out in the weather....
There has been a bit of vandalism in the area lately, so I jumped to that conclusion, based on the above.
