No, that's not a repost. That's Jeff Gotz' truck that just did this year's Top Truck Challenge. It's changed a LOT over the past 2 years and has got to be one of the baddest BIG trucks out there but I think a $59,000 price sticker is a little high on crack. Something else about that truck is that he "claimed" to have over 700 horse but it sure didn't move like it. I have to wonder if it just might squeeze out 700 horse with gasoline but less with the propane . . . who knows. In any event it's a pretty wicked build. He sheared his kingpins off in the tank trap and sent one tire on a float ride down the pond.
You gotta admit though, that thing has some crazy flex.
As far as the hp, them goodyear's make 44" boggers look light, and when having to spin 4 tires that are as heavy as they are and with such a big contact, its gonna suck up the power, but yeah the propane probably drops the power down a bit too.
Yes, the 48 terras weigh more than 44's. But he's also got EXTREMELY low gearing, 6.72:1 vs most of the 44 combos with 5.13. Those tires should have been spinning easily at even moderate horsepower, let alone the 700 claimed for that engine.
