leveling frontend & alignment?

I raised frontend level with rear on my 2002 f150crew 4x4. Called dealer and asked about a front end alinment and was told it would be $ 199.00 sounds kinda high to me. The tires look like camber is ok not sure about the toe setting any way of checking it myself?

depends on what it was to start wtiht. i cranked mineup an inch or better. get on level ground and point straight ahead. take a straight edge and a level and lay up and dwon on each front tire sidewall. have a littlb bulge at the bottom where it rides on the ground so move a little to the side.--- the top if the tire should be tipped in maybe a 1/4 inch further than the bottom. if you are close to level you are a little off, if you are up to 1/2 inch difference, that is a little too much. somewhere inbetween is "close".---- for the toe in i set a concrete block up aginst each tire, 8 inches tall. lay a straight edge on each block 4 feet long. two guys- stretch a ruller across the straight edges in front of tire, then same benind the tire. the front should be about about 1/4 inch less than behind so the tire point toward the center out front. again, if you are 0 it is too far off, if it is 1/2 inch you are too much. ther are two turn buckels one on each side connecting each front wheel to the tie rod. you just loosen up a couple lock nuts and turn 1/4 turn on the rod then retest. i think it is best to reposition the truck by rolling forward 10 feet and letting the tires straighten up to theri "new" position prior to restesting.--- these two procedures actually work very well. i have not had a car or truck aligned at a dealer in 30 years. had a couple trucks run 80,000 on a pair of front tires.
