Not sure if this is the issue, but if you lock the Windows, the lights on the rear (Crew Cab) go out. Unlock the windows and they go on.

Nope, just the drivers side "up" light on the drivers door. Annoying problem but not that big of a deal I guess.

I am having the same problem with mine. I can tap on the switch and they will eventually come on. Not a big deal, but I will probably have the dealer fix while I'm still under warranty.

The passenger switch lights do not illuminate with the window lock switch in "lock". I kind of like this feature.

Just had my switch replaced a few weeks ago for the same problem. Sometimes the little light would work, sometimes it wouldn't.

When they replace your switch, did they screw anything up? I have this fear that things just won't fit right or they will scratch something during the process..

It was a real simple repair. Took them about 5 minutes. The switch panel pops off, they unplug the harness, removed the switch from the cover, pushed the new one into place, plugged the wires back in & snapped the cover back into place.
No sweat!

Same thing here. 2004 screw. Just the drivers one is out. I was afraid to have it fixed out of fear it would not look as good as new after the fix.

Not trying to rub salt into wounds, but on my '04 RCab all the lights on all the door switches remain on. I only looked at it once at night with the windows in up position.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. Other than a shimmy in the front at highway speed, the only problem I've had...other than disappointment with stock 18" tires.

That is how they are supposed to work! Like when you put in a cd at night only those function lights up. Pop out the cd all the radio button lights up, the wonders of the solid state pcb. (Printed circuit boards)

<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1>Did you ever solve the stalling problems on your motorhome? I have the same year and engine and it is doing exactly what you described. Ford has been no help. I could use help fast because I am to use the motorhome for christmas 2005. Thanks
Fred
