2003 intermittent power loss
I have a 2003 XLT with the SOHC engine, 34K miles. There is a problem where either at idle or just driving along the truck will begin to act as though it is only running on 4 cyclinders instead of 6, don't know how else to explain it. It will go no faster than 15-20 MPH. It will do this for 1-2 minutes and everything will be OK. The computer is storing no codes. I have had it to the dealer 3-4 times now for this problem and they have no clues since it will not fail for them.
