Climax Mine Trucks
Does anyone else have any old trucks from the Climax mine up near Leadville, CO? These trucks are usually the " Moly Orange" color exterior and have the original factory red interior. Not to metion they have a lot of wear and tear.

What are you looking for Jerry? Lived in Leadville for 30 yrs(moved to Salida). Climax hasn't had anything in the salvage yard in a long , long , time. I know of a few Fords , but most are Chevys that I know of that you might get your hands on if that's what you're after.
I worked there in the late 80's doing reclamation cleanup.
Got probably 4-5 buddies that got em for little of nothin at that time.
Got one buddy that still uses a 78 Chev 4dr 4x4 to pull his horse trailer around.
Your right though , they were beat to sh** by the time any body got a chance at getting one.
