I have a 74 F100 that is really rotted out, the cab mounts are almost all gone and the fenders aren't much better. All of the mechanical parts are good on it as the truck only has 89000 miles. This truck doesn't have power steering or breaks. I also have a 77 F150 that the frame is rusting out but the cab and fenders are good. What would be the best way to go about making one good truck out of the two. The 74 has a 3 speed on the column which i would like to keep on it. Can I take the steering shaft and linkages for the 3 speed and put them in the 77 cab? If i use that set up will i be able to hook up the power steering? Any help or ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
