Idle issues
After a cold start and it warms up for a few moments the idle drops down like it is supposed to. The problem is when I put my foot on the brake and put tranny into reverse or drive, the idle kicks up 300-400 rpms and my bronco wants to take off. Once I let off the brake for 5-6 seconds the idle will then drop back to where it's supposed to be. Also, if I hit the gas slightly, the Idle will drop back down also.
It only does this on a cold start. Once warm, not a problem.
I do believe the booster is going out as I can hear a slight hissing sound in the cab with the brake applied.
Also, upon placing bko in park, the idle will come up about 200 rpms or so and drop right back down. It does this twice and then stops doing it. I haven't found any vaccum leaks yet. I'll be checking for codes in the next day or two. I'm not sure if it matters, but I don't have smog equipment hooked up as it wasn't there when I bought it.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
