Well got the tranny service finished but I got a little problem, as I was removing the filter screen something fell out into the drain pan. Well when
I cleaned it out I found a little spring about 1 & 1/2 inches long along with a little round piece of metal with a little tit on one end and it was sort of
concave on the other, like maybe a ball bearing might go in there, and the
tit end looks like it goes on the spring. Now Where did this come from???
The Valve Body??? Does anyone have any Idea. When I drained the converter the fluid was black, not dirty brown like the pan fluid, so guess
it had probably never been drained before, Well it still does that little slip
thing if I get on it just a little but quits & acts normal as soon as I let off the gas. So I hope I'm just looking at another Valve Body & not a Tranny swap. Maybe $250.00 wasn't so cheap after all, but I guess the Engine is
worth that much. It runs good just have to pump the heck out of it to get to start when it's cold.

Thanks loads I'm going to stop by Fisher Transmission tomorrow & talk to one of the rebuilders and see if thats what it is. I didn't see how parts could be comming out of the Valve Body & the trans still work.
