Front leaf spring location question
Can anyone tell me how the distance between the front leaf springs on a 77 F350 would compare with mid 80's fords? I believe I read that the highboys had ?narrower? frames before a certain year..but it's been awile since I saw that and I don't remember anything about the F350s.
Actually, if someone could tell me the distance between perches on a 77 F350 I could figure out the rest for myself.
I'm looking to put a dana 60 under a newer truck (an 89) and I'm trying to figure out what I can go with without too many modifications...I want to avoid bending my frame rails in for an axel that's got the perches too close together.
