IAT sensor relocation??yah or nah
I have a 1992 F150 5.0L E4OD 4x4. I have a K&N intake kit and I was wondering if I took the Intake air temp. sensor from the intake manifold and relocated it to the intake tube closer to the air filter, I know it would read a colder air temp. but would it produce more power from the engine? Any body ever done this before? Let me know your thoughts> Thanks

Yeah, I'll agree with Justin. I moved it when I did the MAF swap on my truck, and through experimentation, found that the truck ran better with it installed in the stock location. I figure Ford wrote the computer maps with it in that location, so it should stay there.
