Aaron, the big boss engines are easily available, but they are frightfully exspensive. Can your wallet take a 10-12K hit ? Might be more cost effective to build up that 390 ya got.............DF

I know were a 1970 Boss 429 motor can be had for $6500
needs rebuilding....Still STEEP for a truck motor.

Check Hemmings Motor News. There are usually a few for sale in there. I am sure you have weighed all the options, but this is not a project for the meek or financially challenged. If your budget and tallants can make it happen, i say go for it, it will be realy cool, and hey you could go one further and get a 427 SOHC???? FOMOGO
