351M Variable Venturee Replacement

First of all, thanks to eveyone who responded to the first cry for help. The engine simply isnt running worth a hoot. I want to replace the carb. I think if I replace the distributor, and the carb I should be fine. I dont know if I need to replace anythng else, like the ignition or computer parts, or sensors. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thanks Again
Sean

to go from a tfi/eec4 ignition system to a duraspark 2 system, heres what you need.
*ds2 dizzy for your engine, either junkyard or parts store.
*wire harness between dizzy and module, junkyard or make your own by buying the two connectors.
*blue grommet ds2 ignition module, parts store or junkyard.
*regular / non emissions carb.
*ds2 coil and resistor wire.

now you can remove the entire wire harness near the gas pedal and the computer inside the cab. disconnect and remove all sensors and vacuum hoses. install new vacuum hoses to any equipment you have left.

If you buy the Holley direct replacement (which isn't a VV carb) You will need to change nothing except your frown to a smile when it runs so much better
