Headlight conversion.....bulbs?
Thanks for your quick responses to my questions! I am picking up the conversion kit today and I have purchased regular blue coated xenon 60/55's (Eurolite-Toucan bulbs) to go in there. Hopefully I will have time this weekend to wire up the relay's and go from there. The only bulbs I have seen in the store that put out more watts are like $100 CAN. Not willing to go that far just yet!

Picked up the toucan conversion lenses (070200) and they look great. They do have a 'cruising bulb' to the outside of the bulb (blue) inside the housing used to turn the glow blue, which I didn't expect or want, but I can just pull it out, or replace with a clear 194 bulb to make it look like its not there. Or I could hook it up to my turn signals and use it that way.
It was 10 bucks cheaper than the APC kit, so I'm happy.

When I was looking for bulbs I checked the Ideal Supply (insert probably any automotive parts store) and ordered a set of Philips 100/55w H4's, part number is either P431 or 12593. They list them as rally style. If I remember right they where only about $25.00 each (Cdn.),they have stood up well for the last two years.
