I have recently been given a 59 Edsel Bermuda. When I looked under the hood there was what looked to be an FE. It had white valve covers with 400 stamped in them. I know very little about Edsels and was hoping someone could offer some info. Thanks.
Ah, the Edsel! I'm guessing it says E-400? Well, they tried something different back then. The 400 is the number of ft-lbs the motor puts out. I'll go out on a limb and say you have an FE 361.
Edsels came with one motor only and it was a 361. 4.05" bore and 3.50" stroke 9.6 to 1 compression in 1959 and 10.5 to 1 in 1958. Both motors were rated at 303 hp @ 4600 and 400 ft/lbs of torque at 2800. So I would suspect Rusty is right.
On another slightly off-topic note, I wish we could find replacement pistons for those. Then all these guys with pickup truck 360's might be able to do something with them.
On edit: Didn't they come with a 332 also?

Not according to the Ford "Muscle Parts Story, Supplement #1" published by FMC in July 1970.
