Welcome to the 4.2 forum!
Glad you're here.
There are a few threads buried here somewhere about hooking up a tach on the 4.2. Sounds like you might have already found them.
I can't say for sure if anyone has ever hooked up a Sunpro.
you can use the search function and search for "sunpro" in the 4.2 forum and see what turns up.
thanks for the greeting, i still do not have the tach set up. I spoke to ford racing about it they have a performance part that might work with it he is sending me one to test on my truck.
hey whats up? i just recently hooked up a autoguage from autometer and had to use the tach adaptor made by ford. i ordered it thru summit racing for about $70. it consists of tapping into the 2 signal wires on the crank positioner located on the pass. side directly behind the crank pulley. then hook it up to the tachometer. leave the tach configured for a v8 though. the adapter will adjust automaticly. Enjoy!
