You didn't read the instructions I posted, especially the steps where it tells about dropping the pan and changing the filter.
Flushing will change more of the fluid than dropping the pan alone, even if you drain the torque converter. If you use the instructions above you will also change the fluid in the coolers and lines, valve body, clutches, servos, etc. Simply draining doesn't do that.

I agree, I am not sold on flushing. I can see it if tranny has been over heated and fluid cooked (and you should still drop pan and change filter) but not for normal maintaince. Drop pan change filter and freshen the fluid. I have been doing that now for about 30 years with no failures yet.
