Anti freeze
I got a 98 4.2L that I need to change the juice in. What is the best on the market right now? Thanks for the help.

One is as good as another as far as I'm concerned. Just flush the system and change at recommended intervals.

Well, I think the Zerex G-05 (AKA Ford Premium Gold Coolant) is probably the best for Fords right now. However I don't know if its approved for the older Fords and its probably not worth the additional cost unless you plan to own that '98 through its tenth birthday.

I would use prestone. I have used it for years in vehicles of any shape and size with ZERO problems.

I would have to second the Zerex G0-5. Its some really good coolant. Make sure and flush all the green out first.

zerex runs 10.00 here so only 2.00 more a gallon.
