I have an oil leak still, after replacing the hpop o-rings. There is oil in the valley building up and dripping off the flywheel cover. I read some of the other articles and will check turbo pedestal tomorrow. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
thanks for responding. I talked to our equip. mechanic he thinks the leak is still comming from the front of the motor. Could the o-rings not have been installed properly?
i have had no experience with replacing my hpop rings, so i dont know about that. but i did take my turbo out when i was replacing my compressor wheel. it was only logical to replace the lower pedestal o-rings, the upper rings needed replacing (it is mandatory every time the turbo is removed) and the o-rings are sold in a kit anyway.

I've never done the job myself to offer any experience, but the o-rings must be installed properly without any dirt or tearing in any way. They have to contain 3000 psi. The slightest mistake will make a huge leak.
