Need help with this one, Lift ques.

Ok, I can get myself a used 6" bds lift w/extended raadius arms and dual a-a-l shipped to my door for $650. I still would need to buy shocks, bolts and hardware, and all new poly bushings. Or, I can wait until the week after Christmas until the dick cepek line is avail again that comes with all of the above except the dual a-a-l and only comes w/blocks. By the time I buy all of the hardware and bushings for the bsd they will both be withing about $100-$150 or so.

BDS has a pretty good lift, and I'm not to fimilar with Dick Cepek, but $650 with extended radius arms sounds great. I bought my lift(best of many comp.s) and I paid $600 for 6"s of lift with out shocks or extended radius arms(got the drop brakets instead)or rear lift(I had some blocks to use until I get more money to get new springs).

If you get the used lift, nothing should be wrong with it, but check to make sure it would be complet( extended brake hoses and other little things like that).

Definitely go for the kit with the add-a-leaf over the blocks. Your axle will thank you for it.

The "molded" style shackles have the bushings trapped in the shackle. replaceing the bushing requires replacing the shackle. Both my 92 and my 93 have this style shackle/bushing assembly. It may have changed at some point in time but I'm not aware of the time frame.
